Bakels Shortbread Mix 1kg
Ingredients: 1kg Shortbread mix, 550g Salted Butter Softened and cut into 3cm cubes.
Method: Add Shortbread mix & cubes of Butter into mixer or food processor and mix on low speed. Remove mix onto lightly floured bench, gently combine into a ball and divide in half. Rolling method: Divide mix between 2 pieces of grease proof paper and roll out gently and evenly to 5mm thick. Place on flat tray & refrigerate for 10mins. Remove from fridge & cut to desired shapes. Remove off cuts and repeat rolling method. Bake at 160c in preheated oven for approx 8-12mins (Baking times will vary with size of your desired shapes).
Get creative add sprinkles, choc chips ect…before baking
